Position Description
Onnuri Church of San Jose is seeking a full-time Lead Education Pastor to oversee its education ministry from newborn to college / young adult ministries. The Lead Education Pastor will focus on youth (50 students) and college / young adult ministries (15 members) as the core ministry and oversee the education department. The Lead Education Pastor will join a staff of full-time and part-time pastors and will be supported by the education staff and volunteer leaders.

Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the education ministry.

Establish vision and direction of education ministry through mentorship, discipleship, and training.

Oversee implementation of gospel-centered curriculum and exegetical teaching for youth and young adult ministries.

Communicate & build relationships with parents, students, and volunteers through membership caring and regularly scheduled meetings.

Liaison between staff, session, parents, and other ministries.

Collaborate with pastors, staff, and ministry leaders.

Qualification
A personal and growing commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior our Lord.

Emphasis on exegetical teaching of the Bible
(성경 주석 가르침 중심)
Minimum 3+ years of experience leading the education ministry.

Seminary graduated (M. Div)

Korean & English preferred

Salary
Commensurate with experience
